it’s upgrade time for me for my phone, really want an iphone of some sort. i’ve been reading that the 3gs isn’t really that much different. has someone had both and sees the differences?
i’m really not bothered about several things added on 3gs such as the compass, the 3 mgpx camera instead of 2 (both are crap let’s be honest), video recording etc..
I don’t know. Anyone know any more?

Get the 3G, it’s much less expensive.
There are apps in the Itunes store that you can purchase for one dollar to enable your Iphone 3G to have video recording.

Is there a camera “add-on” which you can buy, then plug it into the phone, and and it faces me so it’s like the iphone 4 camera, however an add-on which you plug in.
Does this exist, and if it does, where can I get it?

The phone does have 3G and A-GPS. Not the best at all. You could find a much better phone for the money though.

The only dock I can think of ATM is the actual Apple dock ( total: for dock + about for good cables). There are cheaper 3rd party alternatives however they don’t sound as good etc. however I’m sure you can find a good dock to suit your preferences.

well, the 3g is faster internet, its got gps, and some other things the original iphone doesnt have…and you should get the 3g iphone, because its newer.
