If it is unlocked it should work with any SIM card, even 3

I have a 3 (three) phone on a contract, however the phone has just recently broken (and guess who doesn’t have insurance – and a few more months left on the contract). I wanted to get a Samsung Z400 phone – which is 3G, however wondered if someone knew if you can use a 3 sim card in any unlocked 3G phone – or if it has to be used only in 3 phones? Cheers in advance for any responses.
Thanks for all of your answers. The only problem about contacting 3, which I have done a few times, is that they have difficulty understanding or answering my question. I will get the phone I want and unlock it and see what happens. I will also contact 3 – in case someone helpful answers the phone. Cheers for all your advice!

it means you can download books via 3G network from almost anywheree.
iPad users only have wifi so you have to be near a wifi hotspot to download or use anything over the internet, there is a 3G model however you need to pay a fee to use it.
Kindles 3G is included in the price.
This is good because you can download new books from the train, bus, store or at home no worries of finding free wifi nearby.

I am pretty sure I understand 3G however have read alot about HSDPA on various informative websites and ambegining feel swampped in terminology. Can someone sumarise this for me in a fairly simplistc way.

HSDPA stands for High Speed Data Packet Access. It’s a way of connecting to the mobile internet, however it works faster than 3G. It’s quicker to connect and quicker to run, so your phone won’t lag as much when using the web, compared to 3G. So, to summarise, 3G is fast, however HSDPA is faster. Hope this helps.
