It’s messed up my iPhone I just want to go back to how it was before I updated the software. I have a macbook, with iTunes 8 and the iPhone 3G.

Why would you want to use your old ‘phone with a different number? Doesn’t make sense….
Most people want to have a new ‘phone, with their old number (which is what I’ve just done).
However, If you keep your old ‘phone & change your network, you will only need to put the new SIM card in; this will give you a different number.

I have seen a nice cover for my 2G iPod touch, however it’s a cover designed for a 3G iPhone. On eBay, the same style of covers are advertised as being able to fit 3G iPhones, so I was wondering if they would work on my 2G iPod touch?

The only option I can find is to spend £70 on a Cark bluetooth converter.. however this seems a little steep especially since I already have a cradle/mic/speakers all set up in the car.. Ideally i’d like some sort of conversion plug for the cradle, so i can listen to the ipod through my speakers, and use it as a phone when I want to.

The cark kit is made by nokia. The blue tooth adapter is the only hope of getting it to work with the iphone

yea.h..just get it unlocked…and get a sim card
but be mindful of the charger as the uk and us are different
