I mostly get around 50Kbps in India. But rarely get 2.5Mbps.

Try to change the area of your computer. Any tall buildings near by can attenuate the signal considerably. By the year end Wimax will be available in India which is much faster than any existing Wifi, 3G etc.

3G is a set of stanadrds network have maintain. in the main 3G or “The G’s” asre speed defined
3G is a brodcast speed up 7.2 mbps
4G s a brodcast speed up 14.2 mbps IE TWICE 3G
So there is a difference between what you newtwork is transmitting at. 3G can get any slower
it’s like saying my car travelling at 100 MPH is slower than 100 Mph
